Most fans are shocked that Kamen Rider Ryuki series was written by a woman. Her name Yasuko Kobayashi, who wrote the current Sentai Series, Samurai Sentai Shinkenger which is on its last three episodes before the series finale and the passing of the torch to the new Sentai series "Tensou Sentai Goseiger" (means Heavenly Clothed Earth Protection Force Rangers) premiering in February 7th, 2010. Dragon Knight can't even equal to Ryuki, it can't because none of its story is in intact.

KDRK was a waste of space to show make it like the Power Ranges. The opening theme sucked so bad, the transformations was horrible, and oh yes, the acting was a complete cluster fuck.

@akatsukimercenary They already did it was called the mystic knights of Tir Ra Nog, seriously, it even had a Tommy clone, the forest knight whose name escapes me from how old the damn show is. And Ninja Turtles the next mutation who had a cameo in PRIS. Both only lasted one season and were panned.

@aliastheabnormal ; Oh, man, I just saw that. It was horrible. Typical Americans downgrading an excellent Japanese superhero show, down to the level of preschool child. It has come to my belief that Americans cannot do tokusatsu the way the Japanese do it. Why don't they do their very own tokusatsu show, and spare us the headaches when they bring Japanese shows over here? Its not hard. They do everytime with Star Trek and Star Gate, and their considered tokusatsu by the Japanese.

@Tsukasamacleod ; Yep, that is why I dont bother with Kamen Rider coming over from Japan to the US. The producers are all butt hurt when they have to change things in order for the FCC to broadcast Kamen Rider in the states, like who gives a shit these days with all the violence in US television? Kamen Rider is perfect as it is, why the sudden change in storyline, altering the plot just to make it appealing for the US? I wish they made a tokusatsu channel in the US with no FCC censorship.

@akatsukimercenary Don't forget taking out the dark character driven story and replacing it with the same old stuff we've seen in every western show.
