This is a presentation by landcare of aeriel views of the pasturage reserve and Neilson Park area of Bargara showing the area affected by planned changes of use including the dog off leash area. This enables the viewer a better understanding of the area involved and its proximity to Mon Repos Turtle rookery, the town area and the coastline.The pastuarage reserve was recommended to be changed to a conservation park in 2003 with revegetation, inclusion of trails and paths along with tie in to the historic railway lines. Nothing has been done. bundaberg City Council is now recommending a further 5 year cattle lease on the area thus denying the community the use of this area.
