By far the best written scene in a cartoon. You can't help but feel for Ace and this scene takes some of the edge off the Bat. Sad as it is, it helps all to realize the Bat is just human.

It makes me sob every time. She was robbed of her childhood and then she dies so young. I'm glad Batman was there for her. He was the best person to be there when she died because he understood what life was like for her and that was the best thing she could possibly have in her final moments. Batman is my favorite superhero because of this scene.

@SuperHemroids Calm down. If you'd care to read my more recent comment, you'll see that I'm aware that Batman is DC. I just meant that even though I prefer Marvel over DC, I still like Batman more than any Marvel series.
