A hungry alligator looking for a bite to eat decides he wants a Heathcliff snack!

This is from the Saturday morning Ruby-Spears series in the early 80's Heathcliff and Marmaduke.

  • I prefer Heathcliff and the Cadillac Cats, but this one had it's own charm too.

  • @johnffrey I'm guessing it has to be either one or any of the additional voices.

  • And everyone in Finland doesn't know Heathcliff simply because series have not been shown on television. And I have also seen only about 20 episodes. We once had three video cassettes which included six episodes each. And we later had VHS in which Heathcliff told stories to this nephews and part of the episodes on this cassette were on those three cassettes mentioned above. But you have uploaded episodes here. Thank you!

  • I remember this episode! It was on a video cassette which included Heathcliff and Marmaduke episodes. I am a Finn and Heathcliff TV series have not been shown on television in Finland. This video cassette had sound track in Finnish and also some 1984 series episodes have been published on VHS in Finland. They were my favorites when I was a kid. But this episode belongs to the 1980 series doesn't it?

  • According to the credits I'd say the voice was done by Paul Winchell or Henry Corden.

  • SwiftFur: When will you add more DIC Heathcliff (and DIC Catillac Cats) besides Ruby Spears Heathcliff? Especially the DIC Catillac Cats episode I am still hoping for - "Pre-Hysteric Riff-Raff".

By the way: Regarding the cartoon: The talking alligator sounds similar to Snagglepuss but he's not voiced by Daws Butler.
