This is a quick video review of Samurai Vengeance for iPhone.

Saumrai vengeance is the sequel to Samurai: Way of the Warrior by Madfinger games. This sequel swaps out the sloppy swipe control of the original for a tight, easy to use button combo system. The graphics are similar in style, a sort of 'sumi ink' anime style that makes for a unique and interesting game world. It's one of the better looking iPhone games I've seen. The story is presented in anime panel style cutscenes that fall between the levels. It's barely there but it holds the game together well enough.

If you like hack n slash gameplay with enough finesse to make you feel like you're accomplishing something, but not finicky enough to make you not want to play it casually then Samurai Vengeance is worth a look.

A warning is in order for parents that it's definitely got some cartoon blood and violence.
