(11mb) hundreds of thousands of animals are being born to die, due to the pet overpopulation crisis. california taxpayers pay over $250 million per year to euthanize these wonderful animals. california's AB 1634 can make a difference with your help, but time is of the essence. please write/fax your state senator today. you make a difference! for assistance, please contact cahealthypets at yahoo dot com.

  • Previously I believed that no one who loves pets wants to support puppy mills and the breeding of immature dogs. Rude awakening. Please READ the bill.

As of 27 June, ALL Supporters of AB1634 are not only advocates for the exempt puppy mills, but now, animals bred for research are exempt. It endorses breeding of immature dogs, because as written intact PERMITS cannot be renewed after one year which is when adult dogs are given tests for such things as hip dysplasia, before they are bred.
