@gkfrick1 for goalies, age doesnt really matter, unless ur really old and ur reflexes suck balls. but for the most part the scouting for the MLS is a joke, everyone knows that, thats the main reason why soccer hasnt been as popular as it should be. When the MLS started, it was a decent league, now not so much, dont get me wrong i would really like to see this league make it, but at this rate its only going to the gutters!!!!

@nintendoluigi i guess you can try to straighten the mls players we have now, but soccer is such an easy, basic sport, the more you touch the ball and move it around, the more effective you are, if you dont naturally play this way, theres not much straighting up any one can do... besides, if ur a "pro" u dont need straighting up, unless its a disciplinary type thing
-
You make a good point, but I think its better to try to straighten up the MLS players, instead of always looking abroad for more talent.

i don't know what i like better larrys amazing ability or legendary commentator frick

You may have a better GAA, but Larry is a better Keeper than u will ever be. PS you are from Delaware.
ive been checking out these "tryout" videos n these players suck balls, no wonder the MLS is a joke, they need to scout players from latin america, second division european leagues, or look at the usl because the USL is a better league, or atleast has more skillful players. MLS stop trying to get washed up players, or "pretty" players like becham, and go for the damn talent!!!

little do you know that most of the players trying out were players from overseas and the USL. in fact, the keeper that got asked to come back played for the Harrisburg City Islanders last year (and won a USL title there a few years back). there were no "washed up players" at this tryout... only young, aspiring talent. larry has just finished his (decorated) college career and anyone who know's goalkeeping would agree that your best years come when you're about 30 years old. he's 22.
