Not really.  The disproof of this is the crew on the space station. The real issue to be concerned with is the interval between the switch off in our present polarity and the reversed state occurring. This is when massive amounts of extra-planetary radiation will impact the earth. Life will survive, it has many many times before (pole reversal happens a lot), but for individuals things will be less than ideal....a LOT less.

You may be rigfht, but I'm not feeling anything bad happening to us, spiritually, in the unforseen future. If anything, the changing energies will mutate our DNA into something more beneficial to us.

BTW, there have been several astronauts who have commented about feeling more in touch with the Source while in space. One in particular (not sure who, would have to look it up) stated he experienced infinite consciousness while in space.
