Recorded Live At Winfield Walnut Valley Festival Sept. 1984. I'll be uploading all My VHS Footage of the guys. This is the 1st song of this set. This could be 1985, I can't remember and I haven't looked for the # on the Festival banner. Sorry for the poor video quality, but hey this was the 80's and the VHS tape is old.
The first bluegrass band I saw was NGR in Topeka, same year.......'84.They opened for a Don Williams concert. I thought they was ok.......but wished they'd hurry up and get done so's I could see Don..........;-)) I think Bela sowed some seeds in my mind, though.I started pickin the banjo in '88.
Love this song. memories....Caroline

I was there also. New Grass closing Stage 1 was always the highlight of the festival in those days.
