Messi couldn't beat a 36 year well past his prime defender like Nesta till he was totally depleted, he couldn't dribble past Zanetti also 36 at the time. I do not understand why Denilson retired so early he is just 35 years old now, I believe that until today he can play with selecao, cafu was playing in 2006 and he was 36. though Brazilian coachs were ignoring him or benching while he was better than the one who was playing in his place, the way he controls the ball is wonderful.

And I would watch them all. He was a fantastic player adn sometimes people didn't know how to use him (Scolari did with Brasil). I loved to watch him. If I want to watch 'effective' football all the time I can tune in to Chelsea of a few years ago, Barcelona, etc. But if I want to enjoy some of the things these incredible players can do as a neutral and be entertained, I will watch players like Denilson.

c´mon, i have seen this guy for 5 years in the Spanish League and it is the most overrrated player in the history... I am sur you can make 200 youtube videos with his skills and tricks, but in a real 90 minutes match, he was completely useless, stopping any counter attack, missing easy balls... the biggest bluff in modern football
