I received my Canon XL1 and wanted to try it out on my Jib Crane. I used my Sony Handycam to shoot the shots of the crane. I need a few more weights, however the thing is already too heavy for the tripod rollers. For the animation I used www.digitaljuice.com for the graphics and the music.

  • 1-1/2 is what I used. I want to add another 4' to it at some point. I've not changed the general configuration, however I no longer have the tripod. It is still a work in progress but it sits on a 4 wheel dolly. I'm on a three day shoot and have it up so I'll shoot the new rig and post it in the next few days.
