Promoting and fundraising for Doctors For Doctors, Melanie van Soeren and Andrew Wilson cycled across Canada in the summer of 2011. With 2 fully loaded touring bikes, they cycled more than expected (7200 km) in 70 days, camping and staying with friends along the way. The journey took them from Victoria, BC to St. Johns, NFL. and was an unforgettable experience.
A special thank you is for Algonquin Outfitters (a great outdoors store in Huntsville, Ontario). Their amazing help and expertise (in the bike shop especially), allowed Mel and Andrew to get across the country without any problems!
