Really shows the fatigue and the determination needed to ride for 24 hours, let alone covering over 500 miles. (only 3 people have achieved this IIRC, Cromac, Wilikinson and now John Warnock.
That my friend and clubmate, Mick Potts won with about 478 miles in 1991 just shows how fantastic this year's ride was because I know how strong Mick was.
