PaulDHamilton I've wanted to do this since I was a child. I'm now 39, is this too old, or do I still have time left? I'm in quite good shape for my age. Should I book a course at a local club or have I 'missed the boat' ?

amazing experience! but i wonder, what happens if u let go the bar for some reason?

If you let go of the bar in calm air the glider will just keep flying straight just like driving a car. It is designed and trimmed out to do this. If the air gets bumpy you need to keep your hands on the control bar just like you need to keep your hands on the wheel of your auto to go around corners or on a bumpy road.

@yellowlucky70 there is a video of a lady thats like 100 years old hang gliding... granted shes being towed and she's flying tandem... either way you can still go up and enjoy it

But the feeling of flying... flying with birds, just like a bird, woah... that's something spiritual which is hard to describe! Just do it, if you can run, you can learn to hang glide.

i seriosly want to by one of these iv never done it but id jump off any thing with one of these it looks brill id be in it all day an night i live in a city so people in there high rise flats will get a shock when i come crusin past haha. i no im geting carrid away but i want one lol. how much does one of these cost?
