Great video, I learned a lot. Thanks

Very nice video! I have another question though: You say that the racquet shouldn't be brought back any lower than how low Blake takes it back. What is your opinion on Mauresmo and Ljubicic, since (if memory serves) they bring the racquet back parallel to their core?

thanks C for your comments regarding one hander, iv switched to it but with the blx, the classic is a great racquet but has a very small sweet spot . Im looking forward to you finishing your common thread on the backhand.

Excellent points, ive been guilty of taking racket back first, then turning shoulders, but it results in rushing against better players that hit with deep pacey groundies, and has made me lose power and control.

@wanderer911 The shoulder turn is the key, especially when returning serves. Thanks for watching my videos . Christophe.

Are you aware that Wawrinka directly linked your video from is official FB account ? That shows how good your studies are :)

Hi,
was wondering about Wawrinka! His backhand seems slightly different in that his whole body turns after impact where he almost faces the net, especially when he hits a cross court. Also I noticed that his racket goes very far back when he prepares for the shot. It seems he does that more than anyone else. I actually love his backhand and have tried to copy that very far back prep, and it works. But I am just wondering about how he gets away with almost facing the net after hitting?

@SuperBestgame His facing the net is just a result of his upper body uncoiling, so it really does not affect the shot itself, everyone is just a little different especially in the follow through phase. Thanks for watching C.
