I am a good friend of Alans we were at school together, Williamwood. I've followed Alan for years when he was with JM. I havent seen him in a long time now. I live in the States now.

Fantarstical!! Thanks for this. I have looked for live John Martyn for a looong time. I first saw him in 1974... He opened for Yes on the Topographic tour. Blew me away! Just him, his voice, guitar and an echoplex. I would love to find recordings of live shows from that era.

Your vidoes of this gig are fantastic, thanks so much. I was there at the front with my wife and teenage kids and we rocked out to this as we all love Big John. I promoted him a few times myself and my son has the dubious memory of supplying him with Gin & Orange many years ago. Fantast stuff and thanks again.
