  • WTF do I care, that's what you city boys get. A Y2K event can happen, the market can crash all to hell, I don't care. I can grow/hunt my food, I get water from the ground. Sucks to be y'all.

  • God bless you friend.....I hope you and your family are safe and stay that way. As we all know these "fellas" have a way of removing "troublemakers".

  • seriously?

not that I disbelieve you, but could you direct me to a source you got that information from ? i'd like to look into it.

    thanks

  • I think I just might love you. You've got a new fan here. Thanks very much. Keep it coming, will you?

  • i signed the petition and just e-mailed my congressman and blasted him as well since he vored for the bailout. 3rd time i've e-mailed him too in the past few days...

  • My guess is this is the margin call on America's debt, held by the biggest international bank (or two). That's why they need to turn us into a financial ashtray for our defaults plus any global fallout we cause. Otherwise the dollar is no longer gets t be king. And knowing the average American sellout yuppie, they are either so overlevrgd that they have no operating cap to stay in business, or they expatriate. Either way is bad news in a very harsh way. I would say someone has us in check.

  • Aren't the big three banks remaining (or to presumably remain).. aren't they international? It sounds to me like they just want to shed their losses in America onto America so that they are free to go and play with other countries. I'm not sure I don't have empathy for their side, if that is the case. They offered an offer, and it was taken in mass by America. Isn't this sort of analagous to them claiming bankruptcy against America? It would make sense. Everyone else is selling out.

  • If all that liquidity (3 trill as you say) ended up in unregulated offshore hedgefunds, then, in theory, couldn't they close off whatever valve allows that money to flow there? Then the current pumping could be successful. The can control domestic inflation by controlling that offshore money when it comes back.

  • Marcy Kaptur!

  • Oh, maybe your name in the tag too..:)
