Glyndebourne on Tour 2010: Trailer

In 2010, Glyndebourne on Tour will present three spectacular productions, offering a variety of musical and theatrical styles to appeal to audiences of all ages.

Glyndebourne presents a new production of Mozart's masterpiece Don Giovanni, conducted by Glyndebourne on Tour's new musical director Jakub Hrusa. Also on tour will be Rossini's comedy La Cenerentola, vividly brought to life in Sir Peter Hall's acclaimed production, is a retelling of Perrault's classic fairy tale, Cinderella. The Tour is completed by Monteverdi's final work, The Coronation of Poppea, which is set in a world of sensuality where passionate, forbidden love is victorious over goodness and virtue.
