It pretty humbling listening and watching nathan-there was one comment on here suggesting he lookd like he needs help, if you are a thinking about pushing your big wave exploits or are already an established big wave surfer you may want to read 'the dark side of flow: a qualitative study of dependance in big wave sufing' souds heavy but then again thats kind of what big wave surfnig is.

i got like a 8 foot back wave on my head there took a 15 second working hit reef then the others washed me too the inside were i stood up the i throw up a little hah from being scared then some aussie asked me if i was good and i said yeah the my friend had a boat on the othere side and we motor back out doging coral head but i had the same feeling. i was 15 and got caught in side learned my lession
