I was there. It was great. We'd catch the Mets at Shea and then walk across to the Fair.
Why aren't there any more world's fairs? Is the world in that bad a shape?

It really put those words out there:
"Built to Last" and parts of it Thankfully still stand Today. Long Live the 1964/1965 New York Worlds Fair!

Chrysler demonstated the Turbine Car, which looked somewhat like a '62 Tbird and was a working prototype.
