For the ones wondering how they could cast "old" actors as the cast:
I think it's because of the topics including sex etc. in the past it maybe was not so easy and "normal" to cast real 15 or 16 year olds to act and yeah be involved in sex, drugs, and other difficult topics.
Brenda (19), Donna (17), Kelly (18) and David (17) were more accurate to be High School students in 1990, Brendan (21) was still acceptable.
Dylan (25), Andrea (19) and Steve (26) were TOO OLD

Andrea was definently my least favorite character of the original cast. She could be so much of a hypocrite at times that I just wanted to reach through the tv screen and punch her. She would always be the first one to jump on somebody and read them their rights if she thought they were doing something immoral, but if anyone attacked her she'd get all defensive and get her feelings hurt. I just never liked her character at all.

ardea zuckerman is my kinda woman. she's very intelligent, she knows what she's talking about and she tells it like it is no matter what anyone else thinks.

I agree she is a downer. I did not like Andrea during the first three seasons. She's just annoying and during the first season she would act like a bitch sometimes to Brandon. And she did not even look like a high school student which that was just unbelievable to me. And she was boring. But I did like her during seasons 4 and 5 though. She was actually likable during those seasons.
