Alex Allman is the creator of the best selling REVOLUTIONARY SEX programs for enhancing sexual pleasure, creating deeper intimacy and communication, and deepening sexual confidence for men and women. He has helped tens of thousands of men, women, and couples achieve greater confidence, intimacy, and passion in their sex lives.
More recently, Allman has turned some of his ideas around communication between couples towards political discourse.
The exercises in courage that are required for authentic communication and what he refers to as "profound getting-each-other-ness" are ways in which romantic couples find common ground, not through compromise (where everyone feels like they have lost or given something up), but rather through growing to higher levels of understanding, where agreements are obvious and both sides feel like they've experienced a win.
Allman's current line of inquiry asks whether these same concepts can be modified and propagated through the use of internet marketing campaigns to install new ideas into global communities, and alter the course of events in conflict zones throughout the world.
About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

This combination of disciplines and way of thinking and resolving conflict is completely new. There would be a lot of trial and error involved. But I really believe Alex has found an extremely important concept. This is taking a way of resolving conflict that usually happens EVENTUALLY and trying to speed it up - skipping the OLD ways of resolving conflict.

@BloodRedCypher It is applied with very clever marketing. The clever part comes from understanding that every conflict is different and needs a different solution. Cognitive psychologists will need to work together with marketers and unbiased experts on the region like historians. They will need to investigate the underlying beliefs of both sides, and figure out a common idea that would resonate with both of them in a non-violent, positive way which would lead to both sides winning.

This makes complete sense and would be great if our society was able to really open their minds and grasp a hold of this idea. The world could really be a much better place than it appears to be. I want to thank Alex Allman for great insights and any of his efforts to enlighten the people.
