to civilhistoryfan1981: i've lived in windsor, ontario my whole life and it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to pick up ANY of the cleveland stations in the Windsor-Detroit area. best bets were WKYC 3 and WJW 8, with WUAB 43 as another good one, but usually, you have to be along lake erie near leamington... i find it amazing that you can pick up the detroit locals in cleveland! any luck with CBET 9?
to vfreeck: WXON (1972-1997), WDWB (1997-2006), WMYD (2006-present).

I enjoyed seeing these logos, as I grew up in Wyandotte, Michigan. Brings back the memories.
Thanks for posting, friend!

I used to be scared of the big CBS eye, it made me think there was a monster in the TV that was watching me, LOL!!

Didn't Channel 20 use the call letters "WDWB" during the WB era?

WGPR changed its call letters to WWJ-TV in 1995 when they took the CBS affiliation from WJBK (now a FOX O&O). WGPR's call letters is still used as a radio station at 107.5 FM.
