6:20 - Chuck says "I am totally opposed to abortion" but explains why he supports it for this 1 girl. Although I agree abortion should generally be avoided, many of the comments here are out of line & harmful, enhancing the non-Christian mindset that we Christians are closed-minded, black & white, judgemental, brainless puppets. This girl is seeking to do the right thing in God's eyes, and He will see that in her heart (and Chuck’s), not a simple black-and-white action that she 'broke a rule'.

Dear Nicki,
The Father loves you so very dearly. His heart for you, your husband and your children is for good. His plans are to prosper you to give you a future and a hope.
Over a year ago I gave birth to a son with special needs. The four weeks that we spent with him were transforming. Those days were a gift. They were and are priceless.
Diagnosis' are often wrong, but if you do have 5 min.with your babies, those will be some of the most precious 5 min. of your life.
You are loved Nicki.

" wow" cursed is the man who trusts in man thus says the lord Jeremiah 17:5. Iam witnessing this through some the comments! Even though they might deny it if ask? Brothers n sisters check your hearts before we judge! Use discernment? I don't serve sing n iam not a pastor! But through so much transgressions of sins I commited I've learned a lot! Am I saying go head and sin willfully no absolutly not! But can not God forgive the even the worse sin a man can commit? If he does it before Christ can

@GRANTEDREPENTANCE There are also women who have cancer and decide to wait until the baby is born and they die because that cancer spread and the baby dies along with her. People on the outside of a situation really don't have enough wisdom to make a judgment about what those IN the situation should do. It's quite easy to decide that another woman should die right along with her unborn child. If you'd be forced to die along with them, then we'd see a lot more compassion & a lot less judging.

This is very sad!!! Calvary Chapel WAS a great movement of God but like most movements mans pride takes its course. This took less than a generation. Because of the the great works the Lord has done through Chuck Smith his pride has pushed the anointing to the side and he now personally takes God's role at times. I heard a answer on this program about divorce a couple of years back that also directly conflicted with the clear teaching of scripture....Chuck concluded he knew the teaching But

This dude is talking out of the "side" of his neck. This is pure double talk, and he is not sorry at all about what he said.

I totally respect your views. This is rough stuff. I have lost respect for Smith (not based on this here). I have come to see Calvary Chapel as a cult. Smith was my pastor for 2 years in the mid 90's. I just posted a clip which asks questions from ONE CHRISTIAN TO ANOTHER and so many Christians have sent me serious hate mail over it. I simply asked some questions that don't come up everyday or go against the mainstream and they FLIP. The atheists have treated me with more respect!!! Cheers!

If the baby is going to die anyway why not give birth, and let God decide if the baby is supposed to live? She's saying the baby will live only one day?

I appreciate the many relevant, faith producing Scriptures used in this video. Man lives by every word that prodeeds from the mouth of God. This is sad. In the past, I have spoken will of Mr. Smith, but he failed on this one. Many doctorse seem to be murder-encouraging liars, and many seem to be naive enought to believe all they say in encouraging abortions. Also, I'm don't think the caller lady said that her life was in danger. Also, Mr. S's use of the adultress woman was a misapplication.

Was this video created by a concerned Christian or an internet Troll ?
On the February 14 Pastor's Perspective program, Chuck Smith and Don Stewart began the program by stating that they had vague unspecified "information" for Nicki from Riverside.
Then they went on to say that the call screener had told them that Nicki might die, and that they were the victims of false judgment from Christian brothers.
No repentance. Only arrogance.
Nothing about how they could have encouraged Nicki to trust in God through this difficult situation.
