Wow, 7 months since my last video. Got a few extra junk hard-drives today, so I made a couple speakers out of them. They sound pretty good, the laptop microphone I used doesn't really do them justice.
A couple improvements over others I've seen:
1. Removing the platters increases the sound quality a ton.
2. Restricted the movement of the read/write head on the large drive.
3. Added a cone with an insulating barrier between it and the head to prevent extra vibration
Sorry if you don't like the music, its the only one that'd work in the cd player.
