Thanks a lot for this valuable information. I do see a lot of dust kicking out of the part where the bow and the string is in contact. When theres no dust, its hardly making any sound so I thought, that after just a couple of bowing, I would need more rosin. So I got tired of putting rosin so frequently that I tried melting the rosin and applying it but could not find a way to melt it. Really want to learn to play but I dont have a teacher. Its good there are instructional videos like this.
