1) Advancing the dream of Michael Jackson to get everyone to sing and dance together as a way of healing the world

2) The corporate sponsor made a substantial donation to the Women's Funding Network because of flashmobamerica's participation

3) The corporate sponsor got some advertizing mileage out of it.

I was in this!!! In response to everyone who said it wasn't a flash mob, it was kinda hard to be surprising when someone leaked that Sofia Vergara was gonna be there to the press, and they were all lined up, therefore drawing a crowd.
