hahaha bear's love spicy food and if he comes from up wind you're screwed...

The smell of bear spray can actually ATTRACT bears...

You're way better off with a can of Raid Hornet and Wasp Killer...

Shoots just as far, won't attract 'em, and works A LOT better!

I'm a prospector as well and always carry Raid... :)

@MrPigsticker You can pan anywhere, If you want to use more advanced equip Sluice etc you need a free miners permit. last i know of was $25.00 & a little test it's probably more as per usual.
