those strobes had to drive him nuts!

When I saw Frank in a club in '84, I was blown away. He made the guitar sing and scream and at one point it sounded like a jet had landed on the roof. The place was packed with guitarists - Ritchie Blackmore was one of them.

Dang, I saw Angel in Murray, Ky back in the late 70's.

A guitar is a bitch in his hands. He can make it cry, sing, scream, or sound so senister your skin crawls.

I first heard Frank Marino when I was in school, his Mahogany Rush IV album, been a fan ever since, he is truly an underrated guitar god

A guy that very few people know about and electric reflections, world anthem just are monster tones! Glaciated mile long sheets of ice and sonic slabs of distortion and tectonic upthrust,..!aH

Underrated? By whom? I first heard Frank in 78 and he certainly wasn't underrated.
My generation was/is very familar with Frank Marino. Its simply a matter of time

@guitarran underrated as in recognized still to this day by all generations. I was unfamiliar with Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush until I started hanging out and jamming with some older guys. Frank Marino is an amazing guitarist, one of the blues shred kings.
