Had to take these little guys inside. Nightime temps dropping to mid 50's.
Very little room in space needed to grow. I started tearing up leaves and dropping buds each tome I went to watr the palnts. So, my idea is to pull the bamboo wind rods out and tie the branches to the main stock.

  • Pods not budz!

  • @Gruffington31 thanks for watching.

  • I'm starting to take my plants in as well. At least the ones I like the most. I also have the same issue. Not a lot of room. i'm going to have to put a few CF lights here and there. Not sure if that will help but we'll see. Very nice plants by the way. Healthy. Mine recently had been hit by some mites.

  • @svtcontour Ugg what a bummer we can't take em all in huh?

    Watch for aphids.. :)

  • @bd1965 It is sad isnt it. Well I convinced my father to take 3 of them and I'm going to give some to friends. I hate to see any freeze and die for nothing.

So have you been growing peppers long? This was my first year of growing more than a couple. I think I went overboard :)

PS. Those aphids can be little bastards cant they. Anytime I see any spider anywhere (jumping or otherwise) I always take them to my pepper plants. I dont know if that does anything but I figure it cant hurt.

  • @svtcontour Ya, first year. I joined a couple forums and was spending (way too much time) educating myself about pepper growing, drooling at pepper pictures on the web, and chatting with fellow pepper lovers. I chose to stop going to the forums. By now, I know enough about the grow cycle of a pepper, I'll (hopfully) do pretty good next year. The people I've met are simply awesome. I just want to give back a little I guess. Thanks for watching, and good luck growing.

  • @svtcontour I just posted an update if yer interested.

  • @Gruffington31 Actually they are called many names such as, buds..pods..fruiting..flowering..going to seed..peppers. There is no wrong saying for this.

  • If the leaves start to get that crinkled look then they are starting to need Calcium.
