@BluesDfender Thank you for such a generous nomination. I feel extremely fortunate to have sites like youtube, cigarboxnation, handmademusicclubhouse, facebook, myspace, ebay, and a long list of friends in the trade; backporchmojo, cigarcitycbgs, tinyguitars, reddogguitars, willy's slides, all my students and viewers. If not for all you good folks, old Keni Lee would be all alone with his dog Onyx just serenading the stars on his backporch. If I failed to mention anyone, I apologize. Enjoy.

@earthmother Thank you for your comment and continued support. I am glad to be able to make this CD available at this time. I believe it offers a solid approach to playing cigar box guitar that is simple, but based on a correct musical foundation. Players will be able to cover their favorite songs that are not technically difficult, but at the same time don't sound elementary. Enjoy.

@braintransplantdonor Thank you for your comment and enthusiastic interest. I feel 3 string CBG offers the opportunity to learn guitar with an easier approach than standard 6 sting guitar. This method of movable chords is universal and applicable to any style of music. I will be also posting more videos in the future, to help students apply this method even better, so they can cover their favorite songs. Not to toot my own horn, but I think this is my epiphany actualized. Enjoy.
i love both these songs and could listen all day to this.
i see that in an earlier comment you said you were tuned E B E are you only using the 3rd 4th and 5th string of a regular 6 pack of medium gauge strings, then tuning these to E B E
thanks

@sacredgreg Thank you for your interest and questions. Yes, I am using strings ADg low to high from a standard medium pack. By tuning lower to EBe the strings have more slack and seem to work better on a fretless guitar. Due to the fact CBGs are not built to any industry standard, experimenting with tunings, string gauges, and set up is essential to getting each one to play at it's best. Please check out my instructional video CDs for more information. Enjoy your practice.

@tracer7142 Thank you for your comment. I am using a very primal tuning. Only 2 notes and 3 strings; EBE. A perfect fifth apart. This string arrangement is very versatile. Enjoy.
