Mitre Conure Jonah

Spoon fun-
Jonah is actually a bundle of love. Everyone who looks at him tells me how healthy he looks and how beautiful he is. Each night we cuddle up for quiet time where he gets to lay down and stretch out on my tummy. He stretches his wings and legs and his neck out until his is laying down napping. Then he pops up for play time of "tickles" where he grabs my finger with his foot and rolls over on his back for me to tickle him and play with his beak and head while he pretends to bite me. He grabs my fingers with his feet and I lift him up off of me and he does little acrobatics and flops back down and we start all over again!

Sorry to hear that Soreub. Ours passed away about the same time and was 28 years old. The house was quiet after that! She belonged to my parents, but of course I grew up with her. I don't have enough time to have a bird of my own, but they got a baby blue crown. He is a sweetheart, but their personalities are very different. He's still a conure though and wonderful. You just can't replace a conure ever. I love the music choice for this video.

My mitred Sophie passed away Dec. 24, 2009. She was 18 1/2 years old. I'm looking for another.........not so easy to find the breed. I'm in New Jersey.

So cute. Our Mitred would play with a tennis ball, and if you were wrapping coins she would run and catch a little air just before landing on the piles and sliding across the table. No silverware was safe on the table hehe.
