NASA space shuttle Endeavour blasts off from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on a mission to deliver the remaining main components to the International Space Station (ISS).
Didn't the heat shield tiles look really awful? It's time we ended this program but without the shuttles in particular DISCOVERY deploying and servicing Hubble, who knows if we would ever have known about the Hubble Deep Field. So much learned because of the Shuttles
The shuttle program may have been too expensive, but you can't put a price tag on what they achieved.
It makes me a little sad to see the workhorse spaceshuttle of nasas last flight!!!! We here on earth need to put aside the petty crap of the politicins and contininue are sense of wonder and exploration of the universe at any cost!!!!!
This is an historical moment, the last nighttime space shuttle launch...the effect of Endeavour punching through the clouds brought me to tears...the beginning of the end of NASA's domination of manned space exploration was summed up in that one shot...space travel is a gamble, and NASA's been taking that gamble for 50 years...kudos to the brave astronauts who took that gamble as well, and WON!!!
If you don't know.. .what . . .must be you are living on weleare, food stamps. .. . .and you are so idiot. . ..Shuttle . .all of them were Fake.. . .No one up ground more than 2 feet. .. ..Nasa is a bunch of idiot likes you

Watching a night-time landing is even better. You can see the plasma trail streak accross the sky.
