Very Very Nice!

@govslops Absolutely and it gives me hope that some people know how to speak it. Well my interpretation is wrong but I just refuse to accept that "comment que" could have meant "however" or "departe"= "to be far from". The language has changed but not to that point.

You all split hairs trying to pigeonhole the art as renaissance or medieval because the dates do not dovetail in different countries, especially in England which had still medieval culture while Italy had boasted of renaissance for few decades.

@luigiperso Well, sometime in the 15th century, which is what I said!!

@1999521 , actually Renaissance began in 1450 A.D.
wonderful however is the translation official? to me verses 2 and 3 sound like an interrogation, as: How in the world could I toward you leave the delicate love that dwells in me? (love toward you) then 6: The love not going to any others, my heart remains in/for you, How could I leave you?. but you know it is just my interpretation.

@500krg Hi, well, I got the translation from some website (now two years ago), so I assume it is sort of official or at least it was done by somebody who knows Old French. I thought it was hyperion website, but now I can't find the lyrics there.
Anyways, it is interesting how Old French sounds and I like how thoroughly they have learned the pronounciation. The ''r's" sound like any other 'r's" in Europe and many words are being spelled as they are written. A beautiful blast from the past ;).
