its not much of a review if its done by the makers of the camcorder. But its a great over view.

Your going to have to edit it. whatever you have, even windows movie maker can accomplish that task. Then i believe you have to export it as another file.

I really like this camera! Best HDD camera I EVER bought! Only problem, the 7th digit in the serial number is 4 so the zoom bar broke due to oil in the camera to prevent rust. If your HG10 has the number 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 then it is at risk of this problem. Dont worry, Canon can fix it for free. (If it has been fixed before, then, your out'a luck)

I'd like to see more of the camera and less of the dude holding it. Stop waving the thing around, place it on a table or tripod, and use a pointer to describe its features.

I wanted to get a camera to do skateboarding videos. I got myself a lens for a cheap price, and had to pick up a camera. I was a little undecided if the hg10 would be good but your review kind of pushed me into getting it. It sounds like nice piece of kit, can't wait till I get it.

does this have a good quality microphone? I want to record marching bands... DCI and it gets loud would this be able to handle the volume without fuzzing out?
