Is the Chocolate Habanero Hotter than a Red Habanero ? um Yes. hahaha it gave me a Headache and it has Taste undertones of Passionfruit, Really Intense.

I just ate one of these and it was deliciouis, but SERIOUSLY HOT. The taste is smokey and much better than the Orange Hab, IMO. I am still on fire 30 minutes later.

I made a "pesto" with about 40 of these to 1 finished quart and it doesn't really burn the tongue! Something about the fats and proteins in the cheese, nuts and olive oil (the only other ingredients!). The trick is to really pureé it well so the particles are very emulsified.

It tastes great and you can appreciate it both heat (without the tongue burn it's very different!) and the flavors!

Most will agree that the tongue is the most sensitive part of the mouth.

Also, chew raw peppers longer!

When used sparingly - what flavor would they be best paired with? I'm a little tired of the hab and mango/tropical fruit stand by. Was thinking of working them into a North African blend of spices.

I ate one of these chocolate habs last night,I agree that It's quite a bit hotter than the red/orange habs. Not looking foward to the bathroom. Thanks for the video.:)
