Puff pastry recipe with a difference using Thermomix kitchen appliance. Fun 'rough' styled puff pastry you can make in minutes to turn ordinary ingredients into something really special. Canapés anyone?

  • Hi Gdaiva1! I had to watch the video again to check which cookie cutter I used, lol. It's just the one I have inherited from my mother's collection I think. Can't say where it came from ... sorry!

  • I've always found the idea of making puff pastry daunting. You've just taken the mystery out of it. Thank you I will be definitely trying it. From an Australian thermomix fan.

  • Those looks absolutely delicious!!

What kind of cookie cutter are you using, looks very solid and comfortable?

  • I tried using ice a while ago when experimenting with a rough puff pastry recipe, but didn't keep at it. I now use icy cold water.

My recipe was pretty much what you're using. Equal flour and butter and half water.

I'll try your method now. Thanks so much!

I use bread (strong flour) in this recipe.

I'm working on a reduced fat recipe for Rough Puff Pastry at the moment.

  • I want to come to YOUR house for dinner!! :D
