miatas wind out real far and come with a low geared diff the ford ones are geared diff the larger tires or wheels is 2 keep the gearing the same or similar otherwise ud have ur v8 wound out really high at crusing speeds

did you buy the kit from monster miata? it like $4,000. i got the instruction manual from him and plan on doing the fabrication myself. what setup did you go with?

Hey, let me ask you Monster owners, is it necessary to add larger wheels? If so is it all because of the new diff?

@racerboyGTR No, you can put whatever wheels you want on it. I just like the 17" and they work with my big brake kit. If you change out the hubs and go with a 5 lug you can have even more selection of wheel and tire sizes. I have done a lot of research on wheel and tire combinations on the miata...I'll be updating my site with everything one of these days.
