Thats exactly what it is like to get vegetarian meals on a plane! Loveley to see a vegetarian comedian, Alan Davies is fantastic.

I don't think he's drunk.. I just think that's his character..

I actually grew quite fond of flying with British Airways, and it's funny, because the pilots' announcements really sounded kind of like that...seeing BA with different eyes from now on :)

hahahah this made me cry of laughing :) rofl

What Alan should have added is that often when the cabin crew asks if anyone ordered the vegetarian meal, non-veggies will stick their hands up because they like the look of it! Often I've been told 'sorry, they're all gone' when we specifically ordered them!

He's not vegetarian actually - he eats fish. Maybe when he did that bit he was an actual vegetarian - but he sure as hell isn't one now. Go vegan!

Pity he's not as great standup as his other comedy ventures. A funny bloke but this act seems a bit immature, just the material is weak I suppose. Gay pilots, good for a one liner, or maybe comedy has moved on since then.

I don't find Alan's stand-up funny. Which is really really annoying, because I love him as a person. So I watch them anyway and try really hard to like them.

@Spence228 Could be both.

The bit about vegetarian meals is so completely accurate... I used to fly around a lot for work, and I've been a vegetarian since I was twelve. I've had stewards/stewardesses bitch and whine about the meatless meals before >.<

I rather think Fry has to duct-tape him to his seat to stop him swaggering all over the QI studio :)

@hardrockinhere Nah, just "very special," apparently.
I've got this whole show on DVD and it is quite possibly my favourite standup sketch of all time!!! Fair play to you for putting it online!!! Absolutely hilarious!!! Him and Rowan Atkinson are my all time heroes!!!
BRILLIANT!!!

Yeah, I think it's what got me interested in standup in the first place, I remember watching it on the tellybox back in 1998 or something. It's probably my favourite alongside Bill Bailey's Part Troll. :]
