I was there, and I can say without a doubt that solo was the single most incredible piece of drumming I've ever seen and am ever likely to. Virgil is a drumming cyborg from the future.

This video is why people should be allowed to record concerts, so these pieces of history aren't lost. When I saw Wayne Krantz he said it was rather quaint that people are told not to film, since in a few years people will have cameras in there eye srecording everything they see. Food for thought.

haha, we only have this footage because i have the same thoughts as you ... i was told twice to stop filming, but i agree with what Dom said about stealing all that you can from other amazing drummers. So why shouldnt we be allowed to film it?

P.S. thepatient678, sorry nope, i got about 3seconds of thomas playing when i got told for the second time to stop filming :S ... sorry dude :(

This is simply...words fail me. I plugged in my old Sears, Kenmore 1978 washing machine to see if what I was hearing was actually a reenactment of the sound that washer makes when the clothes are banging around lopsided. Voila! That's the friggen' sound. I said that out loud at Guitar Center and the drum tech looked at me funny. I said Travis Baker rules. Some dude walked up & banged a cymbal over my head. Another dude jumped up and kicked me in the left eyeball. The manager threw me out!
