thanks, but i dont fly the cubs anymore. i guess that really doesnt matter. i just meant like how do you actually cut the foam. do you heat up a nice, use a thin metal wire or what?

No, its the same prop. Did you notice when I took off my plane bobbed. I didnt knotice that when I had my landing gear callaps on my last flight that my prop shaved about an inch in each side (+ from normal) ware. I installed a new prop after that. It flyes as good as new now.

What are the dimensions of your flaps? I want to do a conversion and I was wondering how you decided the size, angle, etc.

Thanks for the response! I went out and bought the FS flying simulator and it has really helped my rusty flying. Jeff

I like your flap conversion and disco music! I got one of these planes for Christmas and i'm anxious to get out and try it out. I used to fly high wing trainer airplanes about ten years ago and was wondering if this plane is stable and forgiving enough in flight for an amateur? Your other vid is awesome too!
what is the best way to cut the foam? i tried adding ailerons to my hobbyzone super cub about a year ago and it didnt work very well. I have more advanced planes now, but i wanted to add flaps to my t-28

The T-28 is an ausome A/C. Just look at the way Hoby Zone shaped their Ailorons and follow that example. Cut out the flaps the same way, and about the same size. It works good. I am doing it to all my planes except my Super Cub (another good A/C). It really doesn't need Flaps but aelorons work good on it. Well, good luck. Let me know how it went. mdjj.

Thanks for your comment. Yes the T-28 is very stable. It is pretty quick though. It takes hard landings good. The only thing is that it comes in for a landing a little hot, that is why I went with a flap conversion.
P.S. A simulator is a great help when you have not flown for a while.
