How many times did you have to reposition your fresnel lens setup ?
Thanks !

Greay vid! Bro, can you wear some gloves or oven mits next time? I just cringe when you grab the lid, even though I have seen the video before, lol. What an amazing thing to see, wow. Looks SOOO good!

How come it doesnt start EVERYTHING on fire and bust the glass pot?I thought Fresnel lenses were a lot more dangerous.Did you get yours out of a TV or did you buy a Fresnel lense. Do you know where I can get one?

so that fresnel lens out of a tv, its just the 'glass' screen that one can touch? is it in every tv?
ophuichus2012 1 year ago
@ophuichus2012 the one you can touch is a protective cover that protects the fresnel lens behind it. They are in all projection screen TVs, but some are thicker and clearer than others. I found one in a wide screen once that was very thin, cloudy and floppy, and not much use. Stay away from wide screens. Any big-screen projection TV is worth cracking into and having a look. Free big-screen TVs every day in my local newspaper, they just need someone to haul it off.
