474. Cyborg Jeff - Back to the Monaster

track 1, Esperenza S.E. (1998) | track 14, Day after day (2000) Wouw que de choses se sont passées durant cette rentrée 1997. Voilà qui est officiel, j'ai réussi mes exams d'entré en tant que futur Ingénieur du Son à l'IAD. J'ai donc quitté Seraing pour la cité universitaire de Louvain La Neuve, où co-kot avec Didier Rombauts, lui aussi entré à l'IAD. Très rapidement, je me suis à la recherche d'un ordinateur pour ne pas dépérir dans mon KOT, et j'ai donc racheté un Cyrix 166 à mon ami Vanoïd (Cédric Vanrutten). Musicalement, cela m'a pris pas mal de temps pour arriver à paramètrer ma carte son Aztec Sound Galaxy II sous Windows 95, devant choisir entre 16bits ou Stéréo, mais voilà... c'est enfin réglé !! Je me suis alors lancé à fêter l'évènement, en composant une super musique, quelques choses de nouveaux et fortement inspiré de Era -- Ameno ainsi que du concert en plein air de l'artiste liègeois Luc Baiwir... A l'époque, c'était alors un clin d'oeil, mais le titre Back to the Monaster faisait référence au titre Falling in love (monaster mix) composé quelques mois plus tôt, un retour au Monastère de Saint Roch ? Aaah les filles hein !

So many things till the end of summer 97. It was official, i've succeed the admission exams to be Sound Ingineer at the I.A.D. I've left Seraing to settle in the univerCITY of Louvain La Neuve with my new friend Didier Rombauts. So i should find quickly a computer and have bought the one of my friend Cédric Vanrutten, a Cyrix 166mhz with a problematic Aztec Sound Galaxy II that won't work first correctly with Windows 95 and Impulse Tracker... During the first days i should choose between 16bits or stereo... Finally it's over !

So i've wrote this song, with a great melody something inspirated from ERA -- Ameno and the belgian artist Luc Baiwir.

At that time it was just a clin d'oeil, but the title : Back to the monaster is a reference to the song Falling in love (monaster mix)... Yes, i was back tot the Saint Roch monaster....
