Poor Scotty in a wheelchair. That's sad to see. At least he got a star and looks happy in spite of his misery. I'm not seeing Nimoy there either. I think Nimoy was a big star too. They'd probably be talking about his big head, if it wasn't dwarfed by Shatner's humungous one.

@PaulineTriage It's not conditional. It's not caring about who you choose to have sex with! I don't tell people my sexual orientation, nor do I care about others. That's true tolerance. If someone told me "Get on with my life" because I was crapping on about my straightness, I would take that to mean that maybe I'm dribbling on about my sexuality too much. There are all colours of the rainbow, and bigots in all camps.

@Baseshocks Yeah, because it's not like gay activists have succeeding in getting gay marriage passed into law in several states or anything, or that gays are now routinely considered as adoptive parents just as much as straight people. All that laziness and sitting around bitching and moaning simply hasn't gotten anything done.

I saw Shatner on the internet. He did not rant and rave. He simply said you did not invite him to your wedding. And maybe the reason he doesn't show up at gatherings is that he's always working. I don't think the man stops between his own shows, guest appearances, Star Trek Conventions plus he's always writing. Face it, he's in demand.
