do not worry about disappointing anyone! no one matters at this point but u ur husband and the baby! u will be ok!!! the first appointment is always scary so dont worry we all get anxious. Im so glad that ur getting in though and u get to hear the heart beat and i hope that u get an ultrasound too! im glad to see an update and that u can express ur feelings and hopefully it helps and makes u feel better! good luck

yea I'm just a little stressed about it cuz my sister in law just went through that..telling the whole family and then 3 weeks later having to take it back and I saw how sad she was and how sad everyone else was so it's just a little stressing...but I'm trying to keep positive =)

i didnt have my first til around 14 weeks.. so dont be down about that :) also, some drs normally dont see you til almost 2nd trimester cuz nothing is going on.. my first u/s remember wasnt until i was 18 weeks!!!! dont worry though, u will hear the heart beat soon and it will be a strong one :)

That makes me feel so much better! I thought I was the only one who had to wait that long...and now I wont be stressing too much if they make me wait till closer to 20 week for the first u/s....Thanks =) Me and baby can relax a bit now <3

that first appointment was hard! you have to face all your fears! and if there were no heart beat by now hunny...you would have miscarried by now! if anything goes wrong with the baby your body knows what to do! and dont panic if they dont hear it, that doesnt mean its not there! and if you feel butterflys in your tummy..the babys fine! yeah you'll be ok and so will baby! i did that too i bought a onesie! oh and sunflowerrose is doing giraffe theme too! how cute!

Thanks so much!! Thats reassuring <3 I didn't know she was doing giraffe theme too...I am so behind on everyone's videos since I didn't have internet for a month lol...Im curious to see what kind of bedding and stuff she finds, I'll have to let her know if I find something super cute <3

you will be just fine. You sound just like me. I drove myself crazy worrying about my first ultrasound but im holding my beautiful baby girl in my arms (not easy to do and type at the same time lol) and im convinced you'll be doing the same with your little one in 6 months time - ps it doesnt feel like it now but those 9 months really do fly by x

also i didnt hear dylans heartbeat til i was 16 weeks?! around then.. so dont worry sweetie.. soon u will feel bean moving around and everything will reassure u more.. :)

You and my hubby think alike, he suggested I just call ahead that way if they are going to do it I can stop stressing over it and if they aren't then I can try asking for one if the ultrasound tech isn't too busy that day.

It does suck =( but I just keep trying to think positively and hopefully this doctor that I meet will be really nice and well worth the wait <3
