That rain made for a pretty different show! Walter himself said that it would go down in Steely Dan history as the show where they had to build an ark onstage. Thanks for this video and capturing the moment!
one wonders if it will be "otis redding" or "retha franklin" in the second verse, but then donald cuts it off just before that part!

but is it me or did fagen mess up & say "hey ninewhen, in '67"? idk, it just sounds like he messed up or sumthin. maybe its just me?

Yeah but if they had gotten electrocuted Fagen and Becker may well have morphed into Godzilla and Rodan.
Which would have been a highlight of the tour!
