This is the video of the Slow Truck Race that was held at the 9th Annual Fall Antique Truck Show held by the Piedmont Carolina Chapter of the American Truck Historical Society.

I missed a few of the trucks that were in the race. The winners are as follows:
Light Truck: 1965 Kaiser Jeep M715
Heavy Gas:
Heavy Diesel: 1951 Corbitt D-808

This show is held on the first Saturday in November each year at the Napa Distribution Warehouse, on the corner of NC Hwy 68 and Gallimore Dairy Road in Greensboro, NC.

The Spring Show is held on the first Saturday in May each year at the NC Transportation Museum, located on Hwy 29 in Spencer, NC.

  • will there be a show this year at napa..

  • @savagenomore The show has moved, its at the NC Farmers Market in Colfax, NC now. It is on Sandy Ridge Road and is very easy to find.

The Napa was getting too small for the show with the way it is growing every year.

  • @savagenomore I forgot a detail. Its November 6th and starts at 9AM.

Will you be bringing a truck with you?

  • @teeter1939 no truck, I'll just be looking and watching...thanks for the info..

  • @savagenomore You're welcome. I'll have my light green Chevy there again this year. Last year there was roughly 100 trucks in attendance, plus a handful of tractors.

  • where at in greensboro, what time?

  • This year it will be at the Greensboro Farmer's Market on the first Saturday in November. I think it officially starts at 9:00 AM, but you show up well before then or after if you want.

  • THOUGHT I knew something about trucks. I never knew there was such a thing as a "Corbitt". That thing is badass!

  • @teeter1939 I'm gonna make plans to stop by, didn't get to last year...

  • see you there, we always attend the old time tractor show but I'd not known of this until now, found it by using the "explore this area" thing on google maps.
