Poor Penny Johnson or poor penny carson as he is sometimes known speaks tells witnesses about his decision to talk and preach the gospel on street corners using his ventriloquist puppet dummy Sweet Pea Johnson. After making that decision he tried to unlock his the gate at his house, but he lost the key, so he took his hatchet and using the hammer end tried to swing it toward the lock on his gate. Instead of flying toward the lock, the hatchet inextricably went toward his chest and stopped inches from his heart. It then flew away with great force away from him and landed in the yard. He immediately dropped to his knees and prostrated himself before God, the creator. This ordinary man who was called by God tells his story.

i saw him today in Tallahassee Fl too, and I asked him, has anyone told you Thank You lately>? He said no, and I said thank you. Then a cop and a mean looking woman came up and I walked away. The people in the cars were giving him dirty looks, I just smiled at them and looked away. They prob thought he was crazy but he isn't.
