Liverpool scored 3 in the second, with a stunner from Steven Gerrard. Later that season, Liverpool won the trophy by coming from 3 goals down to win on penalties against AC Milan. @TheHardCable Florent Sinama Pongolle is playing for AS Saint-Étienne in France on loan from Sporting Clube de Portugal, he got it going with that goal in the 47th minute, and what a nice feed by Harry Kewell (Harry is also still playing, in the Hyundai A-League, the top flight league in his native Australia) to set up that tally, which was the beginning of the end for Olympiakos in that match, and the beginning of the (to quote Martin Tyler) historical evening "worth an annual of its own".
