Seriously BioWare, this has been bugging us for almost a /year/!

(Title is a reference to one of Laura's favourite books)

*Note: Yes, Witch Hunt retconned this and gave an excuse for where Dog was. THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT OKAY!

  • that was the first thing that pissed me off in Awakening.

I didn't really care if anyone else from game one showed up (though the cameos were nice) i just wanted Dog there.

  • If you play Witch Hunt, there is a codex entry that explains that Dog was conscripted by the kennel masters in Denerim after the final battle in order to help replenish the number of mabari warhounds.

He mated with several females and sired several litters of puppies.

  • Love dog forever, but in DA2 they made the dog attack like a puppy.

  • >healthygaminghabits

yah need somes halthy cheeseboiguh habits brO

  • STEN STOLE HIM

  • The doglessness of the Keep bugs me, too! The Witch Hunt explanation is actually a good one (he's off repopulating, and no doubt having a fine time) except that THERE IS NO CODEX ENTRY. No dialog options -- such as mentioning Dog to Ogren, Alistair or Wynne, all of who knew him.

  • They FORCED me to have OGHREN, but NO DOG... *tears her handkerchief apart with her teeth* OGHREN, BUT NO DOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You make me remember what I lost. :( :( :( :( :( I played a freaking Dwarf Commoner, but I still LOVED Dog! Dammit.

Thankfully, they made amends a bit by putting a Mabari-summoning amulet in the Signature Edition of DA2. But seriously, WTF? Why no dog?

  • @etjester Exactly he served his country bravely......by humping im so proud

  • The absence of my dog (named Awesomesauce) in Awakening made me sad, too. But to soften the blow I imagined that he was happily back at court digging around in the palace gardens, shamelessly begging from courtiers, and having his belly scratched by my hubby King Alistair.

  • Yay a new video! Awakening was rather rude. After all, you get a dear john/jane letter from whoever your romance-able partner was, (WHY ZEV???) and then you haz no dog. I named mine Mauler. Or Killer. Or anything that had to do with teeth and killing. Love the videos!

  • i love your videos please play fallout 3 pls pls pls i want you thoughts
